The early style 12v and 24v engine utilized a mechanical injector. Valley Fuel injection rebuilds them using all Bosch components. Different rated injectors that have progressive sizes of extrude honed nozzles are available. The standard of LPM ( Liters Per Minute) refers to the amount of air that can pass through the nozzle after it has been extrude honed. We do show target HP numbers that can be achieved with the right turbo charger.

High Flow Injectors It's a fact - some OE fuel nozzles inject more fuel and make more power than others. Let BD's 31 years of fuel injector experience work for your 1991-1998 Cummins 5.9 liter 6BTA 12-valve or ISB 24 valve engine with a calibrated fuel injector kit. Included with the kit is a metered turbocharger waste gate orifice that increases turbo boost for the correct air fuel ratio and significant power gains of 20-40 rear wheel horsepower, depending on the application.

For high-performance and race applications, BD now offers its X-Pulse injectors, which have been manufactured with and extra hole in the nozzle to increase fuel delivery beyond stock specifications. These new injectors produce 30-50 rear wheel horsepower, while BD XXX-Pulse injectors produce 60-90 rear wheel horsepower.

When choosing BD XXX-Pulse injectors, BD recommends electronic engine timing modifications and a power matched turbocharger. In addition, modifications to the drivetrain to handle the extra torque load may be necessary.
